Shipping
I ship within the United States only. Dahlia tuber shipping will start in April as weather permits- both on the shipping and receiving end. I am shipping from Eastern Washington state and overnight temps are still dropping low into April. I cannot offer early shipping. I do not feel comfortable adding heat packs this year, but may consider it in the future.

Tubers will be packaged in individual bags with storage medium, boxed, and shipped via USPS Priority with tracking info provided to you. I apologize, but I am unable to combine multiple orders at this time.

Shipping rates will be posted before my sale opens!

Local Pick-Up
If you select this option, you will receive an email notification when your items are ready for pick-up with direct contact information to make pick-up arrangements.

Guarantees
All of my dahlias are grown here on the farm for at least one season before adding them to my inventory list. I verify that they are true to variety during the growing season and label them well to prevent mislabels. However, I am human! I will guarantee each tuber to be true to variety with at least one visible eye. Keep in mind that some tubers are strange looking and they come in all shapes and sizes. I will not ship you a broken, rotten, blind, or squishy tuber. Please open your package and inspect your tubers right away and notify me within 5 days of any issues with your order. Email divergentdahlias@gmail.com. After delivery, you will be responsible for storing, planting, and caring for them. I will not refund if they rot in ground or do not perform well. I am not responsible for negligence on your part or things beyond my control once they leave my hands, such as your storage and growing conditions and your pest and disease management. Please take care of them!

My plants and tubers are inspected by the WSDA. I cull suspicious plants and tubers during the growing season and during storage. They are actively monitored for gall and virus. It is very important to me to grow and pass on only healthy plants. I sanitize my snips between plants when cutting blooms and when dividing each clump of tubers. I use organic methods of pest control in my dahlia field and garden. Virus and disease are not always avoidable and adding new plants is always a risk. You accept this risk by purchasing my tubers.

Hatching Egg & Chicks
Hatching eggs and chicks will be available for local pick-up only. No farm tours are allowed for biosecurity reasons. You can meet me in my driveway or in a public location in Connell or Othello for pick-up. Payments must be prepaid through this website. You will receive an email notification with direct contact information to make pick-up arrangements.

I do not ship hatching eggs or chicks at this time. I am NOT an NPIP participant.

I guarantee that hatching eggs are clean and ready for your incubator or broody. They are collected regularly and are as fresh as possible. I test fertility on my farm throughout the season. Chicks are checked for physical deformities at hatch. They are monitored for vigor before they leave to their new homes. Due to many factors beyond my control, once they leave my farm, I do not offer replacements or refunds based on hatch rates or for chick death.

I do not keep wait lists or take pre-orders for hatching eggs or chicks. I keep my shop updated with what is currently available for sale.

Started Poultry
Started birds will be available for local pick-up only. No farm tours are allowed for biosecurity reasons. You can meet me in my driveway or in a public location in Connell or Othello for pick-up. I may be able to deliver to poultry shows I am attending (must be arranged BEFORE purchase!) Payments must be prepaid through this website. You will receive an email notification with direct contact information to make pick-up arrangements.

All seeds are open-pollinated and results may vary. I aim to provide a quality product when it comes to my seeds and try with due diligence to only send out viable seed. Due to many potential factors that are out of my control, I cannot guarantee germination rates on seeds. If you have any questions about growing from seed, please do thorough research. Growing plants from seeds has a bit of a learning curve, but it is very rewarding process! There will be no refunds on seeds. Seeds ship as soon as possible after sale. They are shipped in bubble mailers via USPS.
