Saxony Ducks

My whole family fell for this amazing German breed of ducks in 2020 and added them to our homestead. They have the best personalities and temperament. They even "laugh" at my jokes. They are a beautiful breed and are excellent foragers. I raise them primarily as a meat and egg source, but I also exhibit them in APA poultry shows. My line has done very well in the show arena! They are in the heavy duck class for APA exhibition, but weigh around 7-9 lbs. The breed is currently on The Livestock Conservancy's threatened list.

Availability-
I do not sell ducklings. If ducklings are hatched here on the farm, they grow up on the farm. Occasionally, I have started juvenile ducks available in the Fall. I try to offer extra hatching eggs when possible since they are difficult to find. My ducks tend to take a winter break from laying and start egg production around March every year.

I do not take pre-orders or keep a wait list. The shop is updated as eggs and birds are available. Thank you for understanding.
